How do we use the information we gather?

Besides broad usage statistics which cannot be tied to any specific user, we do not share your information with anyone outside of our company. Your name, email address, and other information is used in the event that we need to contact you with information about our products and/or services, and to provide whatever services you have requested.

The personal information we gather is used only for processing orders, announcing new products, contests, promotions, newsletters, announcements, or special offers. When you order a product from our web site, we may need to email or contact you by phone in the event that there is a problem processing your order. We may use the information you provide us to inform you of new products, announce new software releases, provide you with tips on how to use our products, or inform you of special offers that are only available to our customers or mailing list members.


Each mailing list email that is sent from Streamzap will include a URL that you can click to opt-out of the Streamzap mailing list. If you receiver any unwanted email from Streamzap after opting-out of the list(s), please write to so that we may correct the problem.

With whom may we share your information?

We do not share any of your personal information with anyone. We may share anonymous statistics about our customers and web site visitors with others, however, no personal information is disclosed. In the event that Streamzap or the majority of its assets were sold, our customer database would be transferred to the new owner.

Our Shipping Policy

Orders within the United States

Orders placed in the continental United States will be shipped via UPS Ground service. Orders to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, P.O. boxes, APOs, or FPOs, will be shipped by the United States Postal Service (USPS) first class mail.

Orders outside of the United States

All orders sent to destinations outside of the United States are sent by U.S. Air Mail. Exact shipping and handling charges will depend upon the country to which we are shipping the merchandise.

Our Return Policy

Return procedure

If you need to return a Streamzap product, you must obtain an Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number from Streamzap by emailing The RMA number must be clearly written on the outside of your returned package. Any merchandise sent to us without an authorized RMA number will be returned to the sender. You must ship your parcel back to us freight prepaid. Sorry, we cannot accept C.O.D. or freight-collect shipments. Streamzap is not responsible for merchandise that is lost during shipment. All returns must include an original proof of purchase. Returns will only be accepted from the original purchaser.

Purchases from the web site

If you have purchased a Streamzap PC Remote from our web site, you may return any unopened Streamzap product for a full refund (excluding all shipping and handling costs) within 30 days from the date of purchase. If you have opened the plastic shell that protects the Streamzap PC Remote, or if you have broken this air-tight seal in any manner, you cannot return your product unless your return is covered under warranty (see below for additional information).

Purchases from other retailers

If you have purchased a Streamzap product from somewhere other than the Streamzap web site, you may only return your product to Streamzap according to our returns under warranty policy (below). All other returns must be processed by the retailer from which you purchased and according to that retailer's return policy.

Returns under warranty

If your Streamzap product exhibits a defect that is covered under the warranty, you may return the product in accordance with our return procedure. Streamzap will provide you with a replacement or repaired product in accordance with the warranty. The purchaser will assume all responsibility and cost of sending the product to Streamzap's corporate offices. If you return merchandise that Streamzap has received at its office and has verified as defective, Streamzap will send a replacement product at no additional charge to you. If the merchandise that you return is found not to be defective, then you shall be responsible for the cost of shipping the merchandise back to you. If you refuse to pay the cost of shipping non-defective merchandise back to you, then Streamzap is not responsible for returning the merchandise to you.

Our Warranty

This limited warranty covers the Streamzap PC Remote.

Streamzap, Inc. (Streamzap) warrants to the original product purchaser (Purchaser) that the Streamzap PC Remote (Product) hardware will be free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase by Purchaser (Warranty Period).

If a defect should occur during the Warranty Period, the Purchaser must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number from Streamzap by emailing The RMA number must be clearly marked on the outside of the returned package. All packages without an RMA number will be returned to sender. No returns will be accepted without the original proof of purchase. The Purchaser will assume all responsibility and cost of sending the Product to Streamzap's corporate offices. Streamzap is not responsible for lost return shipments; please use a reliable carrier.

In the event of a defect, Purchaser's sole and exclusive remedy and Streamzap's sole liability is expressly limited to the correct of the defect by adjustment, repair, or replacement of the Product at Streamzap's sole option and expense.

This warranty does not cover, and Streamzap is not responsible for, damage caused by misuse, neglect, fire, lightning, acts of God, or unauthorized modification of the Product or damage resulting from the use of the Product with hardware or software programs not provided or specifically recommended by Streamzap.

Except as specifically provided herein, there are no other warranties expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. In no event shall Streamzap be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or other damages, including personal injury, lost profits, and damage to property arising out of any breach of this warranty or otherwise.

All software, including device drivers, operating system software, applications programs, and electronic documentation are provided on an As Is basis without warranty. Streamzap makes no representations or warranties with regard to the software and documentation, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusion or limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.
