Windows 7 64-Bit Driver Installation Instructions
Streamzap PC Remote

1. IMPORTANT: Please Do not plug in your USB infrared receiver yet.  First you must install the software according to these instructions.

2. Download the zip file containting Windows 7 64-bit drivers to your computer's Desktop:

Unzip (Right Click and "Extract All...") this file to your Desktop.  You will then have a folder named "x64" on your Desktop.

3. Download the standard (32-bit) drivers (PCRemote.exe) from our website to your computer's Desktop.
They are available at this web page:

These 32-bit drivers must be installed so that you have all the supplementary files that are neccessary to use your PC Remote.  You will be cancelling the installation just before the 32-bit drivers are installed, and instead you will use the 64-bit drivers supplied in x64.zip  The instructions that follow will take you through this process step by step.

4. Run PCRemote.exe

5. If you see the message "An unidentified program wants access to your computer", click the "Allow" Button.

6. When you see the "Welcome" window, click the "Next" Button.

7. When you see the "License Agreement" window, click the "I Agree" button if you agree to the license terms.

8. Choose the file folder destination where you would like to install the device drivers (default location recommended) and click the "Next" button.

9. Start the installation and click "Next", when required.

10. IMPORTANT: When the "Please plug in your USB infrared receiver" window appears click "Cancel" and DO NOT PLUG IN THE RECIEVER.  You will be asked if you are sure you want to cancel, click "Yes".

11. Now plug in your USB infrared reciever.

12. Go to Control Panel-> Hardware and Sound-> Devices and Printers, and under "Unspecified", you will find "Streamzap Remote Control".

13. Right click "Properties" then select the "Hardware" tab. Click "Properties" again and click "Change Settings".

14. Select "Update Driver", then select "Browse my computer for driver software". Browse to the desktop folder "x64" and click "Next".

15. Click "Install" and you are done!
