Web standards redesign

We've just finished reworking our website code to conform more closely to published web standards. There are many benefits as a result of doing so. For our visitors, pages will load faster (we've trimmed the page size by almost ½), and it should look the same (or incredibly similar) in any recent browser on any platform.
Also, by supporting web standards, we encourage the adoption of open, community-based technologies; rather than proprietary ones.
